Unhappy customers.

Mrs. Doe I will be taking you downstairs for your ultrasound in thirty minutes, is that fine with you? "No! I want it done now and be over with!". Even though I used proper manner the patient was upset. That I had to take her somewhere to do a procedure. This type of behavior happens everyday all over the world. Pleasing patients 100% of the time is impossible even with the best care takers.

People have been accustom to having everything their way and on their time. Which is not a bad thing but you must understand that you're at a hospital. Where everything is unpredictable and can change without a notice! For example a hospital like Baylor Medical Center of Dallas have hundreds of beds and at any given time. Their will be people going to procedures at random times depending on which Dr. has order for their patients to go. Trying to schedule for a procedure has to be done in a general time and not so specific at times.

In America where our diets have changed dramatically over the decades can affect hospital stays. I had a patient once asked for soda after giving him fresh ice water. I will guarantee that you would not see that kind of behavior in a 3rd country world.

Have we become so needy in today's culture and just not be able to accept what we really need during a hospital stay? I've seen people take it like it is and others accept that they are at hospital and will follow the protocol as it was meant to be. You're not suppose to be waited on hand and feet but assist in your health to become better. I'm a strong believer in exceptional care but when do you cross the line when to much is to much?

Baylor Medical Center of Dallas

One of the best hospitals to attend is Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. Started as Baptist Memorial Sanitarium, a fourteen room renovated house in October 16, 1903 . [Resource Baylorhealthcare.com]. With over 100 years of experience and outstanding reputation for health care. I would refer this hospital to anyone in the Dallas, United States or would even go far as the world to come to for health care.

Specializing in many different fields such as plastic surgery, gastric bypass, orthopedic, neurosurgery or even oral surgery, you can guarantee that each Dr. in their field is the best. Dr. Finn for example is an outstanding, brilliant, exceptional and referred as the to go to guy for any neurosurgery. I have seen people around the world come to Baylor just to be put on a waiting list for his expertise in this field. If you ever had anyone who had their lip or any oral surgery done by Dr. Wolford you would know they got the best in the business. An established surgeon and researcher of TMJ pathology, dentofacial, craniofacial deformities, cleft lip, palate repair, and micro neurosurgery [Resource http://bcd.tamhsc.edu/oralsurgery/faculty/wolford/wolford.html].

The nurses at Baylor are always being tested to their limits by an online course to keep them on their toes or head. Having patient care techs working with them is an added bonus to keep them free to do critical care to needed patients. Going through and orientation process before working on the floor is a critical point to see if new hires are on top of their game. You must be knowledgeable and apply everything you learned from school and use critical thinking to manage every day work as a Registered Nurse.
Multitasking patients with ease, remembering which and when to give medicines to patients. You can bet that the nurses at Baylor are exceptional in every way. I would recommend Baylor Medical Center to anyone that needs medical care for any reason.

Ever have trouble finding the right place to heal?

Unbelievable, insane, crazy, helpless, horrific, and unorganized are words that describes some of the hospitals in Dallas. Having a bad experience and wanting to warn others is the right thing to do. If you have a friend that is about to go to a hospital, for any surgery or care you would want them to go to a referred one correct? That's why I am here to share my experience and others opinion of their stays in the hospital. You would expect paying a large amount of money and expect some great care right? You are in the mercy of the hospital's staff care while being a patient.

Imagine waking up and seeing two unrecognizable people at your bedside laughing rudely. The thought of them waking you up is making you irritated because you just came out of surgery. Just wanting to rest and heal in peace, now you have two people laughing loudly and intruding in your room. Not to mention they didn't even knock or introduce them self to you is not bad enough! Then you realize your blankets are gone and you are laying on your side without a gown on. Yes, you are naked in a room of two unknown people and they are cleaning your incontinent bowels. Even if they are doing their job, it is their responsibility to let you know what they are doing before they do it. Even if you are sleeping they should have made you aware of it. Leaving you exposed as well, is making you infuriated with their technique.
